Nice conference with good speakers. A better Wlan would be awesome!

Really nice location. Foyer was usually too crowded and some old-school "wireless cables" at least for the speakers would have been nice.

Well picked location, the Wifi sucked a bit, but that's a hard thing to get right. And moving the scheduled beginning time due to a minor hungover crowd is a big no-go IMHO and kind of disrespectful towards the present visitors. The ecosystem day should have been a bit more Symfony focused, maybe next time there should be a component focused day (at least that's what I read into the ecosystem day) and a framework focused day.

It was a really great event I enjoyed. Good location, professional talks, interesting discussions with the community. But there is still some space for improvements :)
- Put the nicknames of SensioLabs connect next to the names, they are helpful to match virtual persons to real persons easier.
- The speakers of a workshop should write a short guide for preparation few days before the workshop begins. We had problems because of the lack of internet to get all attendees ready for work.
- Bring the party to another location so we all have the chance for a short break and to bring our stuff to the hotel or whatever. I think than there would be some more guys around.

To sum it up in one word: Suberb!

As residing in Berlin I was still astonished of the venue I didn't know. It was so suitable for the conference, given it's size.

Having one track of talks on both days - but that with the given quality - made the conference worthwhile for almost every second in comparison to other events.

The staff and sponsoring companies did a great job and it was a pleasure to attend.

The only trade off - as almost always on conferences - was the mediorce performance of the wireless connection, but at the end of the day the Symfony Live 2012 in Berlin gets a 9/10 from me!

The main conference room (church main hall) was great, the room outside with the registration desk and food was a bit too narrow and packed during the breaks. Mainly good talks, especially on the ecosystem day. A good first edition of the symfony live in Berlin.

A two-track conference would be great, so that you at last have a choice when the talk on the main track is not interesting for you.

The venue was cool, but the air inside the conference room was making people doze off or loose concentration, at least on the sides where the roof was lower. I liked that there were two screens, as I always had a view to the slides - but this was problematic for the speakers who forgot to highlight with their lazer pointers what they were talking about on both screens. The food was leaning a bit too much towards the cake and sugar side for my taste, but the dinner had plenty of choices and there was always enough to drink. The surrounding staff was extremely helpful, and deserves a bonus! Good luck next year:)!

Venue was great, organization was great. Yes wifi could improve. I also think that the ecosystem day could have been a bit more Symfony oriented (ie. doing X with Symfony). Obviously the concepts are generic, but it would help people apply the new found knowledge. As a speaker I also always felt well taken care of. The food was also surprisingly well seasoned which isnt usual at conferences.

Not really the job of the organizers, but next time we should arrange a "community" meeting the night before the conference. Too many people involved in the community didnt meet each other during the conference.

Not my favourite choice of venue, mainly because of it actually being inside a church. Personal choices aside, there were things that could be improved organization-wise: the two screens made it hard to follow when the speaker was pointing at one screen but not the other (as someone has already mentioned), there was too little focus on people using the mics when asking questions (as well as interrupting the talks all the time), which made it very hard to follow the conversation on several occations. I also wish there would have been someone from the organizers introducing the speakers and keeping everyone on-time, which seemed to be a problem in some talks.

I enjoyed the talks on both days, it was a good variety of speakers and topics. Social-wise there was quite a bit to be desired, as there seemed to be very little organising to help people meet around the conference. The staff was excellent, though - helpful, smiling and very friendly.
