BrightonPHP December meetup

The Skiff

I attended 3 people said they attended. Show »

A PHP user group for Brighton, UK and surrounding areas. We meet once a month for a presentation and discussion, followed by some form of a social (usually heading to the pub around the corner).

The presentation normally starts at 7.15pm. We're a friendly bunch of people from all sorts of developer backgrounds - from people new to PHP to people who have been working with it for years. Our presentations are across a varied range of topics, and we're always on the lookout for new talks and speakers.

I really enjoyed this talk. Mark took something that I had pretty much dismissed as not being that useful to me and showed some great, real-world examples of how it could actually be useful - especially when it comes down to memory consumption.

He took the code examples from really very basic all the way to quite complex, but explained everything very clearly along the way.
