The examples were good, maybe give a little more explanation for those who are self taught on some of your concepts like scalars

Great summary of all the good stuff coming. I especially liked the parts of the talk where suggestions for future were given and the summary of how other languages did upgrade from one major version to another.

Great talk. Maybe more of PHP 7 could be mentioned but that is probably too much in the future to talk about that. 5.6 was nicely covered and reasons for upgrading it were well put and explained. Thanks for the talk.
