This was my first PHP conference (or first conference of any type) and the event far exceeded my already lofty expectations. I learned so much in just two days, almost all of which can have immediate, practical applications. In addition, I was able to meet a lot of great people and really feel a part of the PHP community for the first time since I began playing around with PHP 13 years ago.

I joked that this conference is going to add more work to my day, not because of anything I learned, but because of all the new people I'm now following on twitter.

Excellent conference! You guys picked a great location and everything seemed to go off without a hitch (and if there were any you skillfully kept it from affecting the attendees). Kudos on the power cords everywhere!!

Excellent selection of speakers and content - can't wait for next years.

Wonderfully organized conference with a fantastic speaker lineup and interesting topics.
It was well worth the trip from Florida to attend (event if I had not won the conference ticken from ServerGrove).
To me the two day double track seemed just right.
I am definitely looking forward to next year.

Great job and thanks for putting this together!

This conference was fantastic. It was well executed from registration through to the last after party. Food for people with odd diets was available and delicious, and the speakers for every session I attended were great! I can not wait for next year to get here. I like the size of this conference, as I got to meet or at least bump into most every attendee.

Excellent Conference! Everything was top notch from the organization, speaker lineup, right down to the great food selection for lunch! Great job to all the organizers! Can't wait to come back next year!

Having never been to a conference before, I had no idea what to expect. Having gone to Lonestar PHP, I think I'm hooked. I learned much more that I had expected. I don't just mean from the talks, which were excellent (as were the speakers). I also mean from the general fellowship and social atmosphere of the event. I learned things in passing, or in speaking to people who have had different experiences than I have; things that I might not have ever learned otherwise. I went knowing exactly two other people there (personally, not counting the, er, 'celebrities' I follow on Twitter). I left with so many more friends and connections, relationships and acquaintanceships that I hope will last for many years to come. My mind has been opened to an entire new world of energy, engagement, and entertainment, and I hope to have similar repeat experiences in the future.

From a technical stand point, the conference went off without hardly a hitch. Registration was quick and easy (and affordable!), and the schedule was well made and kept. The organizers did a great job, and made it attendance easy and stress-free. Any questions or concerns were addressed, even if they were mentioned in passing (i.e. I briefly mentioned the lack of hot teas as a coffee alternative, mostly as small talk, and the suggestion was passed on and may possibly be implemented in future years). The provided food was good, the beer was better, and the games that took place afterwards were a completely, but very appreciated and enjoyed, shock to me. The conference center itself was nice, and an appropriate venue, especially given the number of attendees. The people who put this conference together really did an excellent job overall.

Thank you to everyone who hosted, helped with, organized, spoke, sponsored, or even just attended this conference. Without every single one of you, it just wouldn't have been the same.

Great conference. I wish the convention center didn't reek of old grease smell but the food was great, as were the speakers. Everything ran smoothly....too smoothly which caused me to miss the first of a couple of speakers due to them starting early. I hate that I could only hear half the speakers. Wish there was video of the ones I missed. Hope to be back next year to learn more!! Thanks!
