Excellent keynote and a fantastic note to wrap up the conference. Cal delivers an energetic definition of characteristics a professional developer should exhibit. I especially liked Cal's no-nonsense approach to dealing with a situation you are uncomfortable with as either find a way to enjoy it or find a new place to work, but never give your team less than your full effort.

Overall a great talk that is easy to remember and should last in the minds of anyone who hears it. If you want inspiration, Cal delivers it.

Bonus: I leveled up my Klingon.

Loved your talk Cal. As a first time PHP conference for me I'll say you wrapped it up great for me.

Great talk about professionalism that gives a nod to the fact that most of us came to PHP via the duct-tape route. Cal is a lively joking man with a serious message. This is the cheerleader other communities wish they had. Thank you Cal, for all that you do for the PHP community.

Energised the room and got everybody talking. Passionate delivery with a lot of personal touches. Definitely the right way to close this event.

Energized, enthusiastic, and just all around pumped up. Cal is infectious! (And I mean that in the *good* way not the diseased way.)

Cal is a powerful speaker and motivational.

It was a fantastic closing to an amazing conference3, couldn't have asked for better.

Great way to round out my first PHP conference. Good takeaways, great presentation and very engaging despite the fact that everyone in the room had been going all day.

As Sean said. Cal is truly infectious. He pumps you up and gets you excited to be a PHP developer. As usual this was a great presention to really inspire people. Can't say much more than that.

I liked Cal's description of a developer, uh, developing. I definitely relate. After a while though, I felt like I was sitting in church getting preached at.

Cal is not only a master of tech, but of the creative process, psychology, and the group dynamic as well. He has a Billy Mays level of charisma! :-D

Cal, this was one of the best keynotes I've listened to. Definitely the best you've given that I've heard. Your jokes were hilarious and you made some strong points but you made them fun. Thank you for being such a great representative for this community.

Cal is an entertainer and that is something I really like. As a fellow speaker I believe that you should entertain your audience first and then educate them. Cal did this brilliantly.

Although there wasn't much tech involved in the talk, it inspired me and that's what it's all about. I've seen Cal speak a couple of times (at PHPBenelux, at DPC and now at SunshinPHP) and it always puts a smile on my face.

You could say that it's the same talk all and over again, but who cares about that: the message is solid and why should you change a successful formula.

As a speaker, I'll definitely try to use some of Cal's tricks when preparing future talks.
