Thanks for a great presentation. Ouch! Uncomfortably challenging on some points. Will definitely be making changes - for the better! - in my bidding and customer management processes.

Very interesting talk and well polished talk! While I do contract work myself, and this talk won't really cause me to change how I work, listening to this talk was both fun and informative.

All the things we know, but refuse to admit. Thanks for putting the thoughts in a form that we can get our heads wrapped around, and hopefully, better express to our clients.

As someone who just started contracting a few months ago, I really appreciated this talk. Some things I could see myself in, some things I haven't encountered yet but appreciated the warning, and lots was just good food for thought.

Very well-prepared and well-delivered; Tim is a good speaker (and the "slides" looked great!).

Excellent talk. As a 27+ year self-contractor, the talk was spot-on!

Great talk, the speaker did a really good job focusing on how a novice contractor could become a great professional, I love the concept of consider yourself as a product.

Good talk. Over the years I've come to work similarly to how Tim described his billing and negotiation and work practices, so it was great to hear I've got the best practices down!

The slide presentation set the standard for the rest of the conference, which no one supplanted. I sincerely appreciated the stance of "I am the product" as a new perspective on how to approach things.

And parts of the talk about being the product/commodity, reminded me of this:

Great talk. As a long time contractor, I can see more potential for this talk with more detailed examples and tips.

Valuable information I can use to pass on to my students that are looking to work as an independent contractor
