Excellent presentation about the do and don't of sacred cows. Agreeing with Rowan, this talk should be seen more on PHP conferences.

Inspiring talk. In our daily coding we're focusing on a clean code and possibly the best coded solutions. Presentation shown me that creating technical debt is not always a bad thing.

Really recommend to listen to Greg if you have a chance. It's awesome how good presentation can be without slides when done by a good speaker.

Greg Young's speech gives food for thought! We as developers often make things complicated, without good reason. Very good talk!

I wouldn't have normally gone to the Java track, but it happened to be the only English talk on in the time slot. Luckily, Greg is very engaging and the talk was applicable to *all* developers regardless of language. Going with no slides worked well too, I was slightly worried at the start that it was going to be a bit rambling but Greg tied the various ideas together really well. I especially liked the various real world examples. Arguments always seem more convincing to me when a person is telling you about their own mistakes and experiences.
