TDD and getting paid
Good talk and ditto content. Loved the kata bit, a bit more time would've allowed more in-depth discussion of the cons / real life issues with TDD.

Develop & deploy using hybrid cloud strategies
Interesting and engaging talk, a little on the long side but Thijs knows his subject and brings a certain excitement. Could maybe benefit from a little less focus on Azure.

The road to continuous deployment: a case study
Thanks everybody for the comments! @Youri I'll make sure I'll emphasize that in future iterations of this talk - refactoring the old system was given a serious try (roughly 3-4 months) and did not produce (significant enough) results. Based on that, and a few other factors, the decision was made to strangle & rebuild. @Stephan the problems mostly centered around the docker engine / client, most of those issues have since been solved (I believe we were dealing with docker 0.5 / 0.6 at that point).

High quality live broadcasting with PHP
Interesting topic! The presentation was very engaging, good looking slides, well delivered. Live demos are always a challenge, but even with the initial wifi issues, the twitch stream worked beautifully.

The Secret Life of APIs
It was an interesting talk and it seems you have a lot of practical knowledge. However, the talk probably had too much content which made it feel a little rushed, and the structure/flow could have been a little bit better. I understand the nerves, and with a little bit more practice this could be a good talk!

CQRS & event sourcing in the wild
@Bert, thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry I lost you during the talk. I understand it's a daunting subject and there's a lot to take in. I'll see what I can do with respect to more practical examples. I do believe the theory behind these concepts is useful (perhaps even necessary) to explain. As for the PHP packages, sorry for not being clear enough! Both packages aren't abandoned, the broadway package lacks certain features and doesn't seem to be moving significantly. Prooph is under active development.
