GraphQL is right in front of us, let's do it!
Excellent talk from Renato, lots of practical details and code examples. Convinced me of the benefits of GraphQL where as before I'd not quite fully realised the practical benefits.

Clean Application Development
This was a nice talk from Adam, plenty of things to take away. I've been looking at my functions that have more than 20 lines in them. Also good to get me thinking about Agile Sprints in start-ups giving bosses unrealistic expectations, as well as rough code.

Creating Space to be Awesome
Excellent talk from Meri, entertaining and thought provoking in equal measure. A lots of content to cover, but delivered with pace and clarity. Some handy book recommendations too. I'll definitely make a priority of attending any conference where Meri is speaking at.

Introduction to PHP on Kubernetes
I thought the workshop was really clear, well prepared, and a good balance of theory and practice. The workbook format worked well and helped fit a lot of practical work into a relatively short period of time. I now feel I have a much better, more holistic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration than I had before.

Efficient Domain-driven Design: Event Storming Workshop
This was a really good workshop, and gave me lots to think about, in terms of our team's approaches to many aspects of our work. There were many useful take-aways, both from the technical and the business centric perspective. Very thought provoking, but also fun.

Application Metrics (with Prometheus examples)
Great talk from Rafael, both high level principles and practical notes on implementation. Really different from the talk I last saw him give at J & Beyond in Prague a few years ago, so that was an interesting contrast.

Optimizing PHP-FPM for Production
Lots of really practical details and info on PHP-FPM optimisation, things to try out next week for sure. I think two person talks are a tricky thing to do, but Arne and Sebastian did it really smoothly.
