Hexagonal architecture - message-oriented software design
Great talk about hexagonal architecture. The talk starts out by motivating the need for a consistent and maintainable architecture. The next part is quite technical and introduces the concepts of hexagonal architecture. Since this part is technical and somewhat abstract it's a bit harder to follow. The part about layers came somewhat out of the blue and might benefit from showing an additional example of layers that are often used (i.e. after the slide "Mmm... layers" you could add a zoomed out version of the slide showing the Infrastructure, Application and Domain layers). Since all participants were speaking Dutch the talk was presented in Dutch. This made the talk somewhat less formal, which is nice for a meetup. It had the "disadvantage" that some of the technical terms on the slides had to be translated to Dutch, though I don't think this had much negative effect. Overall the talk was very interesting and motivating to do delve deeper into architecture design.

Basic CQRS and Event Sourcing with Prooph
Great workshop, though I did miss the testing part of an event sourced system. I'm not sure if 3 hours for a basic workshop would be enough to introduce testing so I won't base the rating on that =). Having tests for the event handlers and projectors will probably be a bit too complicated, but I do think that one of the big benefits of event sourcing is that your aggregates are really easy to test. Perhaps for a next workshop you could give the participants some initial tests and let them decide on whether they want to work with the tests. All in all a great workshop to get into the basics of CQRS and Event Sourcing.

Mirror, mirror on the wall: Building a new PHP reflection library
Great introduction to better reflection. I like that you also published an article about the contents of your talk.

The secrets of Cryptography
This is a nice subject but really hard to explain. By adding a bit of history you made it more approachable. I liked the examples that you used, but I did get a little lost with your first diagram. I think it would benefit if you added some animations illustrating the behavior of an algorithm or added some extra slides explaining the symbols used in the diagrams. (I personally got distracted trying to understand the diagram of the A5/1 implementation and as a consequence didn't pay attention to what you were saying) Though I personally liked seeing a bit of math, I think you should skip the notation and just show a simple example of how the equations are used.

A Talk About Naming Things Talk
I like that your presentation was quite thought provoking and you used good arguments / code examples for it.

Introducing Eager Design
I liked your talk and you presented it enthusiastically, however I did get lost a couple of times and it took me a while to get the message (might have been due to tiredness). The part where you introduced some scala concepts was a bit too rushed making it hard to see the advantages. The ideas of your talk were definitely interesting and you presented it very well, but I will need to do some additional reading before understanding the bigger picture. (On that note do you have some references that discuss the advantages and disadvantages of eager design?)

How I Built A Video Game using Event Sourcing
I really liked the quality of your slides. It's nice to see how things are done in different development fields. I don't think going deeper into event sourcing would benefit the talk. It would have slowed down the overall message and there had been enough talks about event sourcing during the conference already. Would have been nice to see the game in live action. :)
