The Code Manifesto
Powerful and heartful, a great way to kick off PHPUK 2016

Simple Machine Learning
An excellent and practical introduction to a tricky topic that was, unfortunately, light on code but good examples and demos.

Every Millisecond Counts: Performance & UX
Covered a huge number of different ways of improving perceived performance but perhaps lacked a joined up way of utilising them or some practical, PHP centric examples.

Elastic scaling in a (micro)service oriented architecture
A wealth of excellent content that was expertly paced and enthusiastically delivered.

Docker & PHP - development and deployment
A great overview of Docker in regards to PHP especially now that the technology is a little more mature but could have done with clearer "getting up and running" introduction.

Behind the Scenes of Maintaining an Open Source Project
Perfectly balanced take-home messages with cautionary tales and a healthy dose of humour and wit, spot on.

Inspiring and funny and hits close to home, a superb way to start the second day of the conference and a sterling keynote.

Security Theatre
Funny, fast and informative, this talk covered a lot of ground and though a little snipey at times, the subject matter more than justified it.

Real-Time Data Pipelines
Though somewhat light on PHP specific details, this was a great talk about a pragmatic approach to an otherwise daunting subject.

All the cool kids...
The dry subject matter was helped by an obviously well informed speaker but lacked tangible, real world examples; even without code a less abstract presentation would have been a huge help.

Doctrine ORM Good Practices and Tricks
Unapologetically opinionated and brutally informative, this was a stand out talk from someone at the heart of the Doctrine ORM project and it managed to mix OOP best practice and reinforcing some concepts that the documentation only touches on.

Got 15 minutes? Then give something back!
A great overview of why and how to give back to the community, even if you're strapped for time, and even if you don't want to (or can't) deliver code. A little cringeworthy in places but the enthusiasm and style more than made up for this.
