Websockets and Torrents: A match made in PHP
A lot to digest in the time frame but was a very informative talk. Presenter was clear, entertaining and the presentation was easy to follow. For feedback, just needs to talk a little slower when talking through some of the more meaty slides.

Friendly staff, didn't have my badge ready, had to print one out while my colleague's was already prepared. Catering was friendly and the drinks offered were nice.

Beyond PSR-7: Design Your Own Middleware Using The Instruction Bus
Fantastic talk, Stuart was clear and the talk was incredibly informative. My only critique was that the code slides were sometimes a little difficult to understand at the speed and order they were presented.

What's in a name?
Brilliant talk. Went surprisingly in depth into a topic I never previously saw as being as complex of an issue. I learned a lot! To offer feedback, some of the joke-y slides and lines went a bit over my uneducated noggin, but other than that, spot on!

MySQL 8
Enjoyed the talk! The speaker was clear and understandable, even from the back. The slides were useful and to the point and really got me hyped about MySQL 8. Shame it's seemingly a long way from production release.

Expect the un-expected: How to handle errors gracefully
A live demonstration that worked deserves a 5/5 in itself ;) A wonderfully insightful talk into the different ways to handle errors, including examples to help debug from single servers to scaled solutions.

“Writing code that lasts” … or writing code you won’t hate tomorrow.
Absolutely fantastic closing keynote. Brought in little elements from the day's talks and offered interesting methods to approach writing code. Just wish there was a golden solution to do so on an existing codebase!
