Serving 30,000,000 Requests an Hour in the Cloud
Great talk. Some interesting ideas of how Terrence achieved the qps and struggles he had. I just don't know google apps and phrases like Firebase or appEngine doesn't tell me much. You could explain what those tools do.

Scaling MongoDB
I still don't understand how can I setup replicated mongoDBs and how to scale them in practice. The talk is though a good overview of capabilities scaling/sharding/replicating mongoDBs. Best explained part: failover pooling.

The first few milliseconds of HTTPS
Really good talk explaining the first milliseconds of https connection. Shown some good examples and easy to follow. Could go more deeply into curiosities like heartbleed or http2

It's all about the jumps
I thought that I will be lost in first 5 minutes, but no. The content was well prepared and explained very nicely. I learned a lot from it, about tokenizer and how the php is translated into opcode.

PHP in 2017
Good talk, a bit of interesting history and most importantly new features in PHP 7.2 and 7.3 Good to know that PHP is still improving. Interesting info about Phan, JIT and Vespa. Just one thing could be improved: There could be more about how we developers can help to improve PHP, and less how we developers write bad code.

Discovering & solving performance issues
Informative talk about tools to check performance issues. Would love to see some live demos. Maybe too much stuff was showed and the speaker could go more deeply into few of them.

Debugging Your Set-Up
Another talk from Derrick where he again showed us how much we don't know about php. Maybe I will never use those tools to debug on so low level. Anyway it was nice to see that it is possible to track errors like segmentation fault, etc. Good to know what is happening under the PHP hood. Thanks

Disco - A fresh look at DI
Very nice talk. Easy to follow and good examples. I quite like this new DI and I will try it on some next project. I don't like annotations, but I like the fact that it's using annotations from Java world and so shortening learning curve. Will see how easy it is to use. Thanks.

Machine Learning Basics
Only ML basics, but solid ones. I really enjoyed PHP-ML. Would like to see how you store the model and reuse it or improve it. Also missed the integration and examples of using tensorflow with PHP. But overall, it was great basics intro to ML. Thanks for that.

MySQL Worst Practices. Bring your system to it's knees.
Expected dry facts, but got really interested thanks to humorous parts. On few slides I was missing, if it was good practice or bad one. Maybe using colors like red/green would make it more obvious. Otherwise I really enjoyed it. Thanks.
