Creating PHP command line applications
A good introduction to the Symfony Console, with some practical examples on how to use aspects of this library. A valuable session with enough in it to be useful in itself but also with good pointers on how to use and develop this for real life scenarios.

Devkit. By the People, For the People.
A good talk covering an issue that I’ve come across loads as a contractor. Good points on how to solve it but his code example may have been better in psuedo code to explain the steps he was trying to solve for.

Machine learning and trend analysis in PHP
An engaging and informative talk. Great to finally have an application for the matrices stuff I was taught at 18 in further maths that ‘would be useful in engineering’. Looking forward to going through the code examples in more detail too.

The Symfony Open-source Community
A good call to arms talk to encourage community support. Zan’s talk was clearly fresh but showed some good potential. A few more goes through in front of the mirror should make something even better for Symfony conference, I hope it goes well.
