Behaviour Driven Development and Behat: Telling Stories Through Code
A great talk and superb introduction into BDD. It has really inspired me to try and get the company I work for to use it. The only thing missing was a bit of context as to how it fits in within the design and build phases of a project, you can't build a system with just features and stories alone. However, that doesn't detract from the fact that it was a really engaging talk.

Crafting Quality PHP Applications: an overview
A great talk with lots of useful ideas for how to improve quality. It is an opinionated talk but that allowed James to be very detailed in a wide range of areas. A little bit of help as to how to convert other team members and other people who are less inclined to think the same way would be useful.

Static Site Generators, PHP, and The Cuban Revolution
A very good talk, lots of interesting ideas and we'll researched. Maybe finish by very quickly building a static site.

How to not be a cool developer
I enjoyed the talk, it included simple code examples and they were well explained for people of all levels of experience. Maybe a couple of comments on the code just for clarity.

Speedy Seeding for Load Testing
I liked the live demo, knowing how it works would be good too (I assume it was a single insert statement).

Using a framework or not
You successfully managed to explain the separation of developer ego and the needs of the project. Very insightful.

Bad Tech Tests
A good, fun talk with plenty of morals and things to learn, it also came at the perfect time in the evening.

Devkit. By the People, For the People.
A very interesting talk, I particularly enjoyed the parts on the soft skilsl. I realise that you were short of time but you skipped through the code examples quite quickly.

Effective Code Review
A great talk on code review with lots of things to take away from it. It would be good if there was a bit more time on the technical integration of it into workflow. I liked the examples and references throughout.
