Using a framework or not
Balanced look at the pros and cons. Very timely, the tide is turning on chasing the new shiny, people are looking for stability and longevity.

Bad Tech Tests
Great anecdotes, well delivered. Nice to have a different format, too. Felt a little rushed, though.

Not using the Git Command Line
Good for people who do use the command line to see how useful a GUI tool can be. Talk overran so I think we missed some of the conclusions.

Devkit. By the People, For the People.
Important points, good to hear how this can also be applied to single developers. Would've liked more time on the technical side.

Static Site Generators, PHP, and The Cuban Revolution
Great delivery, good use of comedy. It's useful for programmers to be reminded every now and then of options that don't require huge frameworks to deliver simple things. It fit in well with some of the other talks given on the night. If there was time it would've been good to hear a bit more about the php-based options as they were new to me.

Development Dinosaurs
I'm new here. I'm not sure whether he was drunk or whether he's always that unfocused. He was definitely winging it, but the payoff was just about worth it. Very funny at times, but a little structure might've helped.
