How to hack a node app?
The talk was very engaging, but the "Node" in the title is misleading ;)

Building scalable web apps for patients
Got everyone's attention with the GOT references and presented a decent amount of tips&tricks on the architecture and tools he uses on a daily basis. Awesome.

React Native App: Expectations vs Reality
Probably the most passionate speaker at the conference (ignoring the fact he's also a friend of mine). Despite the subjectiveness of the talk, Kaloyan shared lots of examples and his authentic experience.

Machine Learning in the browser with deeplearn.js
Good talk for someone who is not aware of ML. Lian Li lost me in the middle of the lecture due to the lack of interactiveness or a little too much info. I guess more than 45 minutes are required to showcase this specific use case because it was rushed at the end.

Modern practices for securing your web applications.

Practical code reviews
Huge disappointment. Excuse me, but this talk was boring and tedious. At least 50% of the public left the room during the lecture and I was really unamused by the lack of real-life stories supporting the advantage of code reviews. This talk was on my top 3 list for the conference, but probably the word "Practical" set wrong expectations. The theory was dominant (like text to speech from Wikipedia) and the lecture reminded me of the university :/ My suggestions for improving: 1) Personal examples (epic fails/wins thanks to code reviews) 2) A pinch of expressiveness when giving the talk and interaction with the public

Working the right way by knowing all the wrong ways.
I really liked the honesty and simplicity in this talk. Thanks to Boyan for sharing his personal experience it really got me as I seem to share most of his bad habits. Sadly, we could not hear the end of the talk due to the delay of the previous lecture... I would love to hear the rest ;)
