Practical hands-On Accessibility Testing
Nic was great! It was a very informative session and made me think about the different ways people with different abilities access the web. I now have a collection of automated accessibility tools that Nic pointed us to that I am totally planning on using for a future accessibility audit on our websites.

Stop Doing It Wrong
Great talk! Also, thanks for the copy of "The Phoenix Project"! Sitting up front because I'm half deaf pays off sometimes :)

Understanding Docker for Development
As someone who has struggled with managing multiple docker containers (while not being a docker expert by any means), it was eye-opening to see docker-compose in action. Definitely going to look into that more. Also, I concur with what Eric says. It was refreshing to see Jessica not get tripped up when a part of her demo didn't work the way it had before. Some speakers would have stopped things in their tracks, killing the flow of the talk and losing the audience, so it was a nice change to see her be able to shrug, explain the issue, and move on. Great talk!

Introduction to PHP Extensions
I enjoyed Derick's talk. Even though I don't anticipate a need for writing our own extensions anytime in the near future, it was still cool to see how it was done. It was also a fun trip down memory lane trying to remember how C works :)

Friday Afternoon Keynote
Samantha's keynote was really good, and inspirational. Fun trip down memory lane as she went over the history of how ARAPNET was invented and grew into the internet we know and love/hate today.

Lessons Learned Building the Composer Internals
I really enjoyed Jordi's session. It was very insightful to see the challenges that a project team faced as the project experienced explosive growth, especially for a project (Composer) that we use regularly.

Testing Your APIs with Postman
Great talk! My colleague and I have been using Postman for 4+ years and we STILL learned a ton. We didn't know about the collection runner or newman, but we're definitely going back to the office and diving into those features now for sure.

REST API Best Practices
Informative talk! Definitely going back to the office next week and rethinking some parts of our internal APIs based on a few lessons learned in this talk. Thanks Mike!

Simplified Continuous Deployment with Laravel and Jenkins
I enjoyed Margaret's talk. There was a lot of material covered, but fortunately she's provided the slides for us to be able to go back and replicate what she demoed post-conference.

Using Our Superpowers For Good
I thought Eryn gave a pretty compelling talk, especially when considering diversity - not just the usual areas of diversity that one may consider such as age, sex, race, etc, but diversity of life experience.

Event Sourcing a Small Library
I thought Emily's presentation was well done and relatable. For something I knew very little about going into the talk, I never felt lost or over my head with the material. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing her finished project!
