Pinterest ❤ Mobile Web
Noice talk! Would be interesting to get more technical details regarding the bundling on web pack.

HTTP2, one frame at a time
Thanks for the talk, left me wanting to implement this asap. It's only not 5* because there's a lot of boilerplate code that isn't so interesting to watch live. Perhaps it'd be better to have those already templated and do the live bits on the interesting stuff?

The future will be Serverless
Too much time discussing the history of the cloud. Good overview of providers and pros and cons. Would be interesting to hear concrete examples or use cases of how to use serverless with an existing monolithic app, for example. Also, what happens with unexpected failures?

My node.js process is on fire
Good info, but it would be better if the presenter used more standard tools for the analysis

The vanilla way
Nice intro to custom components, could've used more detail on how things work technically. It's also not really vanilla if you're using an observables library :)

Coding The Fork app in React Native
Pretty cool, good demo for the limited time.

Everything is awesome: the Lego approach to being an awesome coworker
Very important topic that needs to be mentioned again and again until, hopefully, not anymore. At the end it became a bit tedious, however, and using expressions like "mansplaining" isn't very inclusive I feel: everyone does this, not just men, even if the ratio is significantly skewed.

StranglerApplication pattern: a legacy frontend use case
Interesting, but not exactly novel. Could be useful to know what happens if code isn't changed for a long time (and thus never strangled)

Finding Your Voice: Building Screenless Interfaces with Node.js
Thanks for this, good overview of the current state of tech for voice UIs. Would be nice to have seen a simple example of an request and reply, and what are the voice triggers that tell Alexa et al which skill to use.

PWA as a new Cyber Attack Vector
Some interesting vulnerabilities but most of them are of the type "if the site is malicious, they can do a bunch of bad stuff", which is nothing new to PWAs. The delivery of the talk could've been more engaging as well.

Server Side Rendering from the trenches
This is mostly an intro to server side rendering, and a lot of the time is spent discussing the wrong way to do it (double rendering). Some interesting points like performing requests to an API mid-request in the back-end are not addressed. The author also seemed to think redux was the first implementation of the flux architecture?

10KB or Bust: The Delicate Power of Webpack and Babel
Webpack is chaos. It's complex software that can be very difficult to use correctly and understand, and this talk perfectly addresses quick and simple wins on getting smaller bundle sizes. I came out with a ton of to-dos. The speaker was very engaging and spoke clearly.
