Maintaining Homestead
Great talk, very informative look behind the curtain of a tool that's a vital part of my daily dev workflow. Powerful call to action in contributing to this great tool.

Modern and Secure PHP
Fantastic state of the union address that covered a large array of topics in short time. Presentation was nicely composed and included a great balance of terms/concepts, definitions and code snippets. Thanks!

Assemble Your Code in Stages: Leveling Up With Pipelines
Great talk, took me from virtually no knowledge ready to implement. Didn't realize I had already used pipelines in Gulp talk runner.

Win big, cache out
Lots of great information here, in a short timeframe. Helped me to realize how I can add caching to many of my existing projects (especially the Laravel ones). The speaker did a great job at lowering the bar for entry level listeners, and communicating how well she understood the topic. Questions were answered very thoroughly.

Practical PHP Deployment with Jenkins
Only caught the tail end, but I really enjoyed how the speaker ran through the demo using an actual Jenkins build. Great energy, appreciate the slides posted here - wish more speakers did that.

Apple, Butter, Darmok: A communications primer for developers
Great talk on the power of effective communication & the value of empathy for others. Gave me several take aways about adopting the mindset of the user -- the tech doesn't matter, providing value to the user is the ultimate aim!

The Dark Corners of the SPL
Entertaining talk. Lots of standards library goodies I didn't know about, excited to find places to apply them. The speaker did a great job with code examples & presented some solid take aways based on his own comparative experiments.

How to use generators to beat memory bloat
Solid talk. Props to Korvin for live programming, his demo really cemented the concepts for me. I can't wait to find places to apply the principles he introduced.

Doctrine for Beginners
Great talk, the speaker did a nice job of guiding the group through a comprehensive primer. I have a much better grasp on Doctrine as a whole now, definitely a show, not just tell kind of presentation.

The Myth of the Career Ladder
First speaker pair of the event, the dynamic made the talk conversational & easy to tune into. I liked a lot of the ideas that were presented, would have been nice to have a final slide of take aways to focus things at the end.

Peeling Back the Magic: Modern PHP Without a Framework
Excellent talk with a great takeaway - you won't always be able to migrate legacy applications to frameworks, by incrementally moving a procedural codebase over to modern concepts, you can use "the new hotness" almost immediately. I wish there was more time to finish, but great pace.
